At Road to Tucumcari, I create art, preferring black-and-white images, that honor the quiet spaces where solitude, isolation, and beauty intersect. Based in Colorado and inspired by the timeless depth of Ansel Adams and the adventurous spirit of Chris Burkard, my work seeks stillness in vast landscapes, empty roads and buildings, and the moments most people overlook. Through a minimalist and contemplative approach, I aim to reveal the emotion within empty spaces—and invite viewers to pause, breathe, and feel the quiet for themselves. Road to Tucumcari is my quiet pursuit of the spaces where the world falls still. In the high plains and lonely backroads, I work to strip each moment to its essence—light, shadow, and the echo of something unspoken.
